Our Goal The management group at Alexander's banded together in the hopes of putting a superior meal, drink, and experience in front of you each and every time we see you. Alexander's History Alexander Findley was born in Northern Ireland in 1759 and came to American 10 years later in 1769 where he settled in what is now Washington Country, Pa. while working for the Holland Land Company, he began to build a sawmill in 1815 and in 1816 built his permanent home here in Findley Lake. That same year he completed his sawmill and the water which he used twas given the name Findley's Pond which later received the name Findley's Lake.
