AN OUTLINE OF THE PROFILE SHOOTS & A FEW RECENT SAMPLES FOR YOU!
A few important things... As you will see in the variety of the "Business Profiles" below, we can do pretty much anything you'd like. So take a look at the samples below and see which one best for your business. We will post these as they are released to the new shows but for now, these will give you a good idea of what we can do for your profile segment. We produce these for you outside our already crazy-intense schedule so please be patient with us. Everyone will get their profile created and aired but they have to be done when we can get to them. Keep in mind, you will get to keep these to use anyway you see fit so they're well worth the wait. -Tony

Basic outline of the shoot...

Business Owner Introduction: History of business and a tour talking as we go with older pics of business overlaying the video.
Business owner interview/conversation: A casual interview with the business owner discussing anything they would like to focus on. Their choice.
Creative segment: This is optional for any business that wants to take advantage of it. We show any manufacturing or unique aspect of your business. It can be anything you'd like. The more we can stretch this segment the better.
Customer impromtu praise for your business: This is optional! We show quick comments from people in your business telling us what they love about it.
Close: Sherry or myself or both of us back outside your business wrapping up the segment. These can also be done inside but the point of it is to familiarize the viewing audience with the exterior of your shop so it sticks in their head.
What do we need from you? - Older digital pics/video of the business to include in the segment. - A half hours of your time for your interview. - A half hour for B-roll additional onsite shots. - Your final approval to broadcast.
You'll be able to watch the progress of the edit through your portal as we will post it as we go and will have final say on what goes to air. You will get a copy of this segment to permanently use however you want. So, that's it. We try to make this process as painless and easy as possible for you!
SAMPLES & DESCRIPTIONS
"Yummies Ice Cream" Warsaw, New York (#3 - Long-form "Doc-Style" Profile - No additional expenses/long lead time)
This is a long-form "documentary style" profile which literally will take up an entire episode. We will happily produce these but there has to be enough solid material and we obviously can't (for the little money we charge) go crazy with post-production, original music etc... unless the additional production costs are covered up-front. We hardly charge anything as it is compared to hiring a full production company or a pseudo-"news" team. Generally, these long-form doc-style profiles take a third of a year or more and may incur additional charges. But on the other hand, they will also last for years and are a deep testament to your business.
These type of action oriented profiles are shorter in length but require additional people and cameras etc... They can look like an action sequence and (like the one above) can also include the business info throughout the segment as they are a little shorter in length. These take a good while to produce and cost a good deal more than anything else we produce outside of the intensive puppet-tales on our show. All costs have to be paid for upfront, but they are highly effective and are great for action oriented/activity businesses. But again, will require a higher cost and lead time.
Genesee Country Village & Museum (#1 - Simple "Makers-Style" Profile - No Additional expenses/Short lead time)
This is a simple-shoot, single-cam profile that allows the public to see exactly what you do or provides a specific teaser for your overall business. These are perfect for getting right to air as quickly as possible in the most direct way. They're perfect for "maker" businesses such as painting class shops, bead shops, bike repair shops etc... . If you make, repair or prepare ANYTHING at all from food to goods, this may be a great way to go! The nice thing about these is that they really don't come across as a "business" oriented "profile" at all and seem much more entertainment driven. They are our recommended style for the ease and speed in which we can get these to air.
Genesee Country Village & Museum (#2 -Mid-Level "Makers-Style" Profile - No Additional expenses/Avg. lead time)
This is a good example of a mid-level profile that has a bit of production in the "maker-style". We will also post some shorter "doc-style" profiles as soon as they're completed in a week or so. But this is pretty much what most of our profiles that we produce will end up like. They are effective, fun and much quicker to produce and get to air as well as being good "adver-tainment" for all sorts of businesses. These take a bit more time than our simple shoots (up top to the right) but are worth the time as they offer greater depth and longevity for the audience than the simple shoots.
